Radiology and ultrasound are non-invasive imaging techniques we use to gather additional information that we are unable to see on a traditional physical exam. Both techniques are utilized routinely at Meadow Branch Animal Hospital to help further characterize a patient's illness.
Radiology can aid in the diagnosis of fractures, help evaluate the condition of joints, as well as provide some insight on specific digestive issues, and much more.
Ultrasound can be used to take a closer look at specific organs that are vital to your pet's health and aid in diagnosing conditions such as organ enlargement, presence of abdominal fluid, tumors, intestinal wall abnormalities, bladder stones and tumors, and a large variety of abdominal pathologies.
